bitsy is a a little engine for little games, worlds, and stories. It is suited to teach children from primary school some basics about coding in an almost „no-code“ environment.
Due to its minimalistic design it is easy to get started with bitsy. Click on the image to play the game:

Once you have made a game with bitsy you can play it in the browser. You can also download it as a html file. Each month there is a bitsy Jam whith a special theme. Creators can publish their creations on the itch.io site and participate in the jam.
This year in September bitsy turns seven and there is a special bitsy Fest Jam to celebrate the 7th anniversary of bitsy! 7️⃣ 🎉🎊 This bitsy Fest Jam will be very special one, because on October 15th, a Bitsy exhibition will be opened at the Virtual Museum of Screens, featuring classic Bitsy creations, alongside every game made for the jam!
